Hightower senior guard/forward Danuel House was one of three Hurricane hoopers that signed letters of intent with the Houston Cougars on Wednesday.
House, a top 15 national men’s basketball recruit joined twin sisters Taylor and Tyler Gilbert, who are top 100 national recruits at their positions, in signing with UH on Wednesday morning, the first day of the fall signing period for basketball.

Also, the women’s hoops signing class is finalized and plenty of local flavor involved. In addition to the Gilbert twins, Bellaire guard Bianca Winslow (daughter of Rickie Winslow) also signed. Bryan Rudder forward Marche Amerson and Cedar Hill point guard Alecia Smith round out the class.
